In 2011, D’Ambrosio founded Executive Excellence after she sought to take on a new professional challenge. One that would allow her to use her professional experience, and the skills she had mastered in international affairs, diplomacy, and campaign management to develop high-achieving businesses.

Deciding to help people in similar situations to hers, D’Ambrosio uses the experience she gained working for a broad range of organizations from Federal Government, to the private sector and not for profit, to guide her clients’ personal success. She now helps highly skilled professionals in executive positions, and high level government officials, transition into new sectors, or industries, navigating them as they found their own businesses, and future careers.

Her clients attribute their success to her uncanny ability to uncover their aspirations and passions, and her capability to align them with the right strategic partnerships to propel their businesses and careers forward. It is with that same drive and ambition that Francesca D'Ambrosio has decided to run for office.

I have decided to run for office in a bid to return municipal government to the people. Politics has become so top heavy, where councillors relay the messages to the ward, rather than its original task of speaking on behalf of  ward members. I feel that the sophistication of the voters has been misjudged, and much information has been  tucked away.

This feeling of general apathy at the municipal level of government is an indication of just how far gone our city council is. My goal is inclusion, and to remind constituents that their voices and opinions matter and can have a real impact on how we shape our neighbourhoods. With the right context and awareness, many would be onboard to be more involved in local government. Invested residents are happy residents and happy residents are healthy thriving neighbourhoods

My Position:

If elected, I pledge to tackle the issues that matter most to this neighbourhood. For that to be real and legitimate that means including ALL residents in the decision making process. I am a firm believer in spending the money wisely, and doing it right the first time.

Criminality- Within our ward the rates of criminality are rising. Dialogue needs to happen for this issue to begin to be addressed.

Infrastructure- Ottawa is making leaps and bounds in some neighbourhoods, while others are left in the dark, struggling with limited transportation options poor or limited park spaces, run down structures,  and shabby roads.

Environment- While some wards have glowing recycling and community environmental projects, ward 11 is still behind in its recycling and environmental initiatives. I would like to see more of a community based initiative to change this.
